florence, italy is a mecca, a playground for the young, the rich and the just plain lucky.
it has often been said that florence is the los angeles of europe, though some will argue
that london, england is the los angeles of europe—though this is coming from those who
have not been lucky enough to make the journey to florence. florence is forever alive
with activity and some have said that it is truly the city that does not sleep. the parties are
loud and those lucky enough to attend a florentine party will tell you that no party,
or city, rivals that of florence. that aside, florence is home to one of the most widely
respected colleges in the world, and if you are accepted chances are that you’ll
receive the education of a lifetime, though with your education will come scandal.
those who have allied themselves with you could turn out to be your greatest rivals,
and those who have pitted themselves against you could turn out to be your greatest
allies. if you thought that all the drama that went along with high school was over, you
were sorely mistaken, though the drama shrouding the university is far more damaging
than any high school drama could ever hope to be. just remember, you’re nobody until
you’re talked about, and if you wish to make it, you better bring all that you’ve got
because these kids aren’t playing around. florence is the city that can either make you
or break you. honey, maybe you should stop throwing stones at a glass moon.
